While this isn’t the first time we’ve covered a Marvel movie here on WM, or replica IWC a Marvel property on HODINKEE, it’s the first to feature a watch prominently in the sense that it’s almost replika Hublot intrinsic to the main character’s story. In this film, Doctor Strange’s watch is a totem, a token, a memory piece. In fact, the watch doesn’t even work. It’s smashed up and battered, just like Strange was in the car accident that almost took his life.
